Welcome to the variants and parts article for the IAF100 Taranis Tracked Main Battle Tank. While another article will tell you about the mighty Taranis in the universe of The Ion Age this time around we are all about the physical 15mm scale models themselves.  All of the pieces with scale and then all of the pieces together that show what you get with each variant when you receive a Taranis kit.  A super cool vehicle designed by Bob Naismith and now in the finest resin!

  1. I like most of the design. Not sure on the Energy Turret as the exposed crew pod, says shoot here to KO tank & from its style, doesn't look like it belongs to the Taranis Tank (curvy against blocky)

Might be able to get one in ESO.

  2. I think the Seige Turret is my favorite. Both aesthetically and it looks robust to last in play.

    1. Thanks Dave. We did have Taranis designed for robust use and to be durable in extended play. Made of a small number of pieces and solid. Cannon Barrels and pintel mount gun are white metal meaning sturdier than resin. I know what you mean.

  3. The Taranis siege variant is the winner in my book. I really like the quirky twin main gun arsenal, the only thing I would have liked to have seen would have seen turret side mounted smoke canister launchers, maybe they can still get made and be added.

    1. Thanks Zac. We do have such a launcher in white metal. Perhaps it could be an option added for you when you order up.
